RESOLUTION 2023-01
RESOLUTION OF THE NORTH LAKE COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE MILLAGE RATE FOR THE 2023-2024 FISCAL YEAR 
WHEREAS, The North Lake County Hospital District may levy a millage to raise operating revenue; and 
WHEREAS, Florida Statutes, Section 200.065(2) requires the North Lake County Hospital District to approve such millage by ordinance or resolution; and the Laws of Florida Chapter 2012-258 state that the Board may levy an ad valorem tax in the district not to exceed I mill on the dollar value of all nonexempt property within that area of Lake County which comprises the District; and 
WHEREAS, the gross taxable value for operating purposes not exempt from taxation within the North Lake County Hospital District has been certified by the Lake County Property Appraiser as $18,532,166,600; and 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 
I. The North Lake County Hospital Board of Trustees hereby approves a levy of 0.15 mills. 
2. The levy of 0.15 mills represents a decrease in the property tax levy of -66.92 percent over the rolled-back rate of 0.4534 mills.
